About this site: On the Arthritis Foundation's Web site, you'll find a lot of useful information about the disease, as well as bulletin boards where you can exchange experiences with other readers, a question and answer section, and links to other resources. The Disease Center's index page features more than 50 articles on all different types of arthritis. (http://www.arthritis.org/)  Pluses: The attitude on the site is encouraging and upbeat, which can be reassuring for people managing a chronic disease.  Minuses: Fundraising efforts are a bit intrusive.  Best feature: A one-stop site for arthritis information with lots of tips on pain management, traveling, dating, and even financial planning. |
